Terna
Terna manages Italy’s high and extra-high voltage electricity grid, which is one of the most modern and technologically advanced grids in Europe. Their role makes them drivers of the double transition, digital and energy, towards eco-compatible sources, guaranteeing a safe and efficient supply for families and businesses. The Terna group is the owner of the Italian national transmission grid (NTG) for high and extra-high voltage electricity, and is the largest independent electricity transmission system operator (TSO) in Europe. They have a public service role, crucial to ensuring the country's electricity supply and enabling the entire Italian electricity system to function.
